Privacy

The plain-English version. Last updated October 17, 2026.

We're two podcasters, not a data company. We collect as little as we can, we don't sell anything about you, and we don't run ads that follow you around the internet.

What you can send us, and where it goes

Newsletter

If you sign up for our monthly letter, your email address goes to Kit, the service we use to send it. Every email has an unsubscribe link. We never sell or share your address.

Voicemails

If you leave a voicemail on Talk Over Us, the recording and anything you type with it (like your first name and city) are stored privately in our own website account. Only Amarilys and Misty listen to them. We only play a voicemail on the show if you checked the box saying it's OK. We delete voicemails after 90 days unless we've saved one for the show. If you're under 13, please ask a parent before you leave one.

Bring Us To Your Town

When you pin your city, we store the city only. Never your address. The public map only shows a city once 20 people have pinned it.

Email

If you email info@onthedoc.com, we keep the conversation in our inbox like anyone else would.

What stays on your device

Your Doc Shelf checkmarks and your pick in our parenting debate are saved in your own browser. We can't see them. Clearing your browser data erases them.

Other sites we link to

Patreon, our shop, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube each have their own privacy policies. When you join on Patreon or buy something from the shop, that site handles your payment and information, not us.

Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which means your browser asks Google for them when a page loads.

Visitor stats

We don't use tracking cookies. If we ever add visitor statistics, we'll use a privacy-friendly tool and update this page first.

Questions, or want something deleted?

Email info@onthedoc.com and we'll take care of it.
